Planning your application
Graduating is an important milestone, but it does not by itself establish eligibility for a Post-Graduation Work Permit. Your institution, program, study history and the requirements that apply to your circumstances need an individual review.
How Value Visa can help
Value Visa helps assemble completion documents, review the timeline from studies to work and identify questions that need to be resolved before filing. If your PGWP is expiring, we assess potential next pathways separately; we do not describe a PGWP as routinely renewable or promise a route to permanent residence.
Your review is specific to your circumstances. We explain the proposed work and confirm fees in writing before beginning. Government fees are separate.
Documents to discuss
Bring the records you already have to the consultation. This starting list does not replace the personalized checklist for your application.
- Completion letter and final transcripts
- Passport and current or previous study permits
- Record of full-time study, breaks and transfers
- Language results or other eligibility evidence where required
For the initial inquiry, describe your situation and deadlines. Ask us how to share sensitive documents before emailing identity or financial records.
Current official guidance
Requirements, fees and processing information can change. Use the official instructions alongside advice about your own circumstances.

Can I automatically extend an expiring PGWP?
No automatic extension should be assumed. Bring your current permit, passport and immigration timeline so we can review whether a specific extension provision or a different pathway may apply.
What will a consultation cover?
We discuss your goal, immigration history and the documents available, identify questions that need further review and explain the scope of assistance. Fees are confirmed in writing before work begins; government fees are separate.
Can Value Visa guarantee approval or a processing date?
No. IRCC makes immigration decisions, and processing times can change. We help prepare a complete, consistent application and explain the next steps without promising an outcome.
