Planning your application
A Super Visa can be an option for parents and grandparents planning extended family visits to Canada. The review involves both the visiting family member and their host, so preparing only the visitor's passport and an invitation leaves important questions unanswered.
How Value Visa can help
Value Visa reviews the family relationship, host documents, financial evidence and the insurance and medical requirements relevant to the application. We help you organize a file that explains the visit and the support available. Income calculations and acceptable insurance requirements should be checked against current IRCC guidance instead of relying on an old checklist.
Your review is specific to your circumstances. We explain the proposed work and confirm fees in writing before beginning. Government fees are separate.
Documents to discuss
Bring the records you already have to the consultation. This starting list does not replace the personalized checklist for your application.
- Visitor's passport and immigration history
- Proof of the parent or grandparent relationship
- Host's status, invitation and income records
- Insurance documents and medical information requested for the application
For the initial inquiry, describe your situation and deadlines. Ask us how to share sensitive documents before emailing identity or financial records.
Current official guidance
Requirements, fees and processing information can change. Use the official instructions alongside advice about your own circumstances.

Is a Super Visa the same as sponsoring a parent for permanent residence?
No. A Super Visa concerns temporary visits. Parent and grandparent sponsorship is a separate permanent residence process with its own intake and eligibility requirements. We can help you compare the purpose of each route.
What will a consultation cover?
We discuss your goal, immigration history and the documents available, identify questions that need further review and explain the scope of assistance. Fees are confirmed in writing before work begins; government fees are separate.
Can Value Visa guarantee approval or a processing date?
No. IRCC makes immigration decisions, and processing times can change. We help prepare a complete, consistent application and explain the next steps without promising an outcome.
