Parent and grandparent sponsorship

Review parent and grandparent sponsorship planning with Value Visa. Discuss sponsor records, family documents and current intake requirements.

Planning your application

Permanent residence sponsorship for parents and grandparents has a different purpose and process from a temporary family visit. Planning starts with the current intake instructions and the sponsor's circumstances, rather than an assumption that an application can be filed at any time.

How Value Visa can help

We review the relevant invitation or intake records, family relationships and sponsor documentation. If a temporary visit is the immediate aim, we can also discuss a separate visitor visa or Super Visa review without presenting those as permanent residence applications.

Your review is specific to your circumstances. We explain the proposed work and confirm fees in writing before beginning. Government fees are separate.

Documents to discuss

Bring the records you already have to the consultation. This starting list does not replace the personalized checklist for your application.

  • Invitation or intake correspondence, if available
  • Sponsor status and financial records
  • Proof of family relationships
  • Parents' or grandparents' identity and immigration records

For the initial inquiry, describe your situation and deadlines. Ask us how to share sensitive documents before emailing identity or financial records.

Current official guidance

Requirements, fees and processing information can change. Use the official instructions alongside advice about your own circumstances.

Frequently asked questions

Can I submit a sponsorship whenever I am ready?

Do not assume intake is open. Check the current IRCC process and any invitation requirements before preparing to submit.

What will a consultation cover?

We discuss your goal, immigration history and the documents available, identify questions that need further review and explain the scope of assistance. Fees are confirmed in writing before work begins; government fees are separate.

Can Value Visa guarantee approval or a processing date?

No. IRCC makes immigration decisions, and processing times can change. We help prepare a complete, consistent application and explain the next steps without promising an outcome.
