Planning your application
Express Entry involves several stages, from assessing the relevant program to creating a profile and, if invited, submitting a permanent residence application. A competitive score and program eligibility are related questions, but neither should be assumed from a job title alone.
How Value Visa can help
We review your education, language results and work history against the program being considered, including Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker or Federal Skilled Trades. We help identify evidence gaps before a profile or application relies on a claim. An invitation, processing timeline or permanent residence outcome cannot be guaranteed.
Your review is specific to your circumstances. We explain the proposed work and confirm fees in writing before beginning. Government fees are separate.
Documents to discuss
Bring the records you already have to the consultation. This starting list does not replace the personalized checklist for your application.
- Language test results and education records
- Educational credential assessment, where relevant
- Employment letters describing duties, dates and hours
- Passports, family details and previous immigration records
For the initial inquiry, describe your situation and deadlines. Ask us how to share sensitive documents before emailing identity or financial records.

Does entering the Express Entry pool mean I have applied for PR?
No. A profile in the pool is distinct from a permanent residence application. An invitation and a complete application are further steps, with their own requirements and deadlines.
What will a consultation cover?
We discuss your goal, immigration history and the documents available, identify questions that need further review and explain the scope of assistance. Fees are confirmed in writing before work begins; government fees are separate.
Can Value Visa guarantee approval or a processing date?
No. IRCC makes immigration decisions, and processing times can change. We help prepare a complete, consistent application and explain the next steps without promising an outcome.
